About the role
Within the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Performance, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Insight Manager to join our growing team and contribute to improving performance and decision making across our University through the provision of high quality and meaningful data analysis and insights.

The role will be located in the Business Intelligence Service, which is responsible for our key student-related statutory returns, leads on the data for satisfaction and graduate outcome surveys and provides data insights on a whole range of matters such as student satisfaction, non-continuation, degree classifications and widening participation, including through the development of business intelligence dashboards.

The Data Insight Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Data Insights Officers designing, assembling, validating, interpreting and presenting qualitative and quantitative education-related data insights to support the achievement of our Education Strategy.
​
You will work with colleagues across the University to specify new dashboards and present data insights to the senior management team. With a degree or relevant professional qualification, you will have the advanced statistical skills and experience needed to undertake complex data analysis and make best use of a wide range of complex data in support of institutional strategy development and decision making.

This role requires excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, alongside the resilience and flexibility to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
