£33,797 - £39,152 p.a.
Fixed-term 12-month contract, Full-time
The Business Intelligence Service (BIS), sitting within the Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate, is responsible for key student-related statutory returns and providing data insights throughout the University to assess our performance and to make informed decisions.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our BIS team, focusing on the engagement of students with their studies. We welcome applications from someone with strong statistical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. This person should be confident working with data and explaining the requirements and implications of engagement data metrics in order to improve the institutional understanding of this data.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting data analysis reports and recommendations for a variety of audiences. You will work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders across the University, which requires excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
A background in Higher Education is not essential to this role. With a relevant degree or professional qualification, you will have experience of using a range of tools and advanced techniques combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
