About the role

In alignment with our strategic goal to strengthen the underpinning operations of the University, we are committed to a long-term transformation of services to maximise our use of resources, drive efficiencies, and improve the overall offer to existing and future students.

To provide the required capacity and expertise for delivering the University’s Transformation Programme with its benefits, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Process Analyst to join a newly established Strategic Transformation and Change Team. 

If you are looking to build a career in change and projects – this is an excellent opportunities to get practical experience in project and change work on a large complex project. If you are looking to build a career in Higher education – this will provide experience in delivering strategic projects to create successful operations and improve staff and student experience.

In this role you’ll work closely with colleagues at all levels across the University to undertake functional and process reviews to enhance our current operating model and drive efficiencies and effectiveness.

You’ll require a degree or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification. You’ll also have strong people and communication skills, experience in designing operating models and undertaking complex process reviews and business process analysis.

This 1 year fixed-term post is in alignment with the overall Transformation Programme plan, with potential for extension or an offer of a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

You’ll be based in the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Performance, but work collaboratively and flexibly across the University to ensure effective and efficient results. The successful applicant will be based at either our Cambridge or Chelmsford campus with the option of remote working and occasional travel to our main campuses.
